Little Favors From My Government: US Consuls to Mexico, 1821-1865–Ph.D. dissertation

Title page Jack’s Ph.D. dissertation from Texas Christian University

I had to complete my dissertation by the end of the summer session in 1993, and pass my final oral examination in order to be granted the Lectureship in History at TCU. I had two word processors, one printer, and software programs for statistics and WordPerfect (remember that?). I got it all done and slept for a couple of days after I passed my orals.

The dissertation is not online. Here is the link, however, for the record at Mary Couts Burnett Library at TCU.
